Magdelēnas kvartāls is a unique project – a new quarter with high added-value, right in the centre of Riga. The quarter will consist of residential buildings, commercial property, office buildings, and spaces suitable for community activities, education, and creative workshops.

The quarter is being planned as a harmonious whole where people can live, work and relax. A place that is pleasant to go to, spend time in, and return to. In total, the quarter will have 300 apartments (with a total area of 21,000 m²); 15,000 m² of office space, which can also be converted for community or continuing-education purposes; and 3,000 m² of commercial property. The quarter will have two car parks, with capacity for more than 250 vehicles. The scope of the first phase includes the development of two residential buildings with 116 apartments and three separate commercial spaces. Seven of the 116 apartments have been designed according to the “live-work” principle, in which the first floor of each apartment is designated for commercial use. Between the two buildings there will be a large green garden, and underneath that, an underground car park for the dwellers.
Magdelēnas kvartāls is located on 2.5 ha site in Riga’s Quiet centre, between Antonijas, Melngaiļa, and Strēlnieku streets – right in the epicentre of activity. Immediately adjacent is the refined and elegant Quiet centre, in close distance - Skanste – Riga’s future modern centre as well as dynamic historical business centre. The area is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is surrounded by a well-developed infrastructure: state institutions, banks, shopping centres, restaurants, and assorted services. Just a few minutes of walking takes you to beautiful Riga parks and top cultural institutions – theatres and museums. Access to Riga’s main thoroughfares and public transport is quick and convenient.
