Mera Spa Hotel, an outstanding hotel located on the sea shore of Sopot, joined the Marriott International hotel chain. Sopot Marriott Resort & Spa will make use of the leading hotelchain knowledge, and will be visible to more then 85 million Marriott reward members, which enlarge Sopots reputation and will bring more visitors. And it has become the second flagship branded hotel in Poland, after the Warsaw Marriott Hotel.
Mera Spa Hotel, which has been valued by its guests for its relaxing family atmosphere, individual approach to its clients and demanding service quality has earned its success. The result of the success is an agreement signed last year between Vastint Poland, being the owner of the building, Legend Hotels Poland being its operator and Marriott International. Thus, Mera Spa Hotel has joined the biggest hotel chain in the world: Marriott International.
“I am truly convinced that our guests will welcome the change with enthusiasm and will continue to regard our hotel as their preferred holiday choice. We have been very happy to cooperate with Marriott and I think that this project will turn out a success as well”, said Roger Anderson, Managing Director, Vastint Poland.
The fact that Mera Spa Hotel has joined the Marriott hotel chain has prompted modernisation activities in the hotel building, located in the direct vicinity of a beautiful sandy beach in Sopot. The design of the interior has been partly changed. All of the rooms have been upgraded to offer the facilities guaranteed by hotels in most highly appreciated hotel chains.
The alterations in the hotel’s interior design were aimed at upgrading the Mera Spa Hotel to the highly valued standards of the Marriott chain. All changes in the interior design are conducted with great attention to detail. “We would like our present and future guests to feel comfortable and close to nature in our Sopot Marriott Resort & Spa”, added Mera Spa Hotel’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Kamil Lipski.
Besides changes in the interior, Mera Spa Hotel has also improved its service standards and menus have been designed to reflect a more international business acumen.
Joining the international Marriott hotel chain presents the whole team with a chance for professional development as they will be able to use the resources offered by the new brand.
“Joining the Marriott International family helps us enriching our standards and our offers all year round. It is owing to the Mera Spa Hotel that our hotel has been building its reputation for the past five years. This is why the agreement foresees that we can keep the name of the Mera Spa and its logo, while the hotel will fly the new Marriott logo. We decided to do it for the sake of our current clients”, said Mera Spa Hotel’s General Manager, Michael JJ Stenner.
