Vastint Netherlands B.V. has acquired the ownership of an office building located at Hullenbergweg 1-3in Amsterdam Zuidoost. The purchase agreement was signed with the German vendor IntReal.

The building, with 5,600 m² in total, is in a perfect location. Not just because of the proximity of the A9 and A2 motorways and public transport, but mainly because of the adjacent office complex ‘Tricity’, acquired by Vastint in 2016. Tricity consists of three buildings with 20,000 m² in total.

Cees Gehrels, Managing Director of Vastint Netherlands: ‘Tricity was acquired at the time in order to add it to the Vastint portfolio as a magnificent redevelopment project. The acquisition of this adjacent building means that we can increase our level of ambition even further, literally and figuratively. The two will be joined to create one huge project.’

To achieve this the buildings will be developed/redeveloped together to create a contemporary and high-quality, multifunctional complex consisting of residential accommodation and multi-tenant office space with suitable facilities.

Vastint has extensive experience internationally with similar large, multi-functional development/redevelopment projects. The successful Atlas ArenA Amsterdam – located 5 minutes away – is a good example of such a project in the Netherlands.
