Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge achieves LEED Gold

Vastint Hospitality’s Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge in the UK has been awarded LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.

The hotel is centrally located on Freer Gait and offers 262 rooms. The fabulous rooftop bar serves cocktails and craft beer with stunning views of Edinburgh Castle alongside a cinema screen and outdoor terrace. Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge also boasts two high-tech meeting rooms and a 24-hour fitness centre.

The site used to be home to the renowned Fountainbridge Brewery. Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge stays true to its historic site with a beer and hops concept. Oversized beer tanks greet guests on arrival with beer lines strategically located throughout the stylish communal areas.

New Fountainbridge

Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge is part of the first phase of Vastint’s New Fountainbridge project. Besides the hotel, Vastint Hospitality delivered a landmark 5,532 m² office building. The redevelopment will create a lively and new mixed-use neighbourhood with 253 homes.

LEED

LEED is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. LEED certification provides independent verification of a building’s green features, allowing for the design, construction, operations and maintenance of resource-efficient, high-performing, healthy, cost-effective buildings. LEED is the triple bottom line in action, benefiting people, planet and profit.
