AC Marriott Inverness

Vastint Hospitality has developed a 191-bedroom AC Marriott hotel in Inverness. The hotel opened its doors on October 25 22 and offers a modern accommodation in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The opening was celebrated together with the operator Hotel Co 51.

The hotel used to be a local swimming pool and many in Inverness have strong memories of this. Vastint Hospitality has reflected the pool theme in various abstract paintings in the lobby to hold on to those memories.

The architecture is modern with a little nod to the old building style in Inverness. This is reflected in the sloping roofs, the dormer windows in the roof, and the use of materials: natural stone on the facade and zinc roofing.
