Vastint Hospitality plans to develop the currently vacant Plot 1, Building B site at Newcastle Helix. A planning application will be submitted for a new 200 bed Moxy Hotel with ancillary uses. This includes cycle parking, improved servicing, access and landscaping. Moxy Hotels are a Marriott brand. Moxy offers a new way of traveling in which smaller is concentration, not reduction. The 24-acre science and technology hub on the historic former Newcastle Brewery site will facilitate over 4,000 jobs and 500,000 sqft of office and research floorspace.
