Vastint Hospitality divested Havannah House

Vastint Hospitality divested the student house property – Havannah House – in Glasgow. The property was sold to IQ Student Accommodation, a British student housing company.

Havannah House

Havannah House is a student housing and opened its doors in September 2018. It offers over 458 student rooms, comprises a spacious lounge on the ground floor and has two attractive courtyards.

The lobby for the students is provided with a gym, cinema room, pool tables and a football table. It also has a private study area for quiet individual studying or working in groups. In addition, the lobby provides access to the spacious and green courtyard area.

Havannah House offers studios and cluster rooms. The studios all have their own kitchen and private bathroom. The cluster rooms have their own bathroom and share a kitchen. The kitchens are spacious and the dining area / sitting area is equipped with a large television. Both apartments are provided with large floor to bottom windows allowing a lot of daylight to come in.

On the ground floor, the lobby and on each floor wall art have been created by artist Alex Lucas from Bristol. She combined her own style with local influences such as quotes of famous Glaswegians and skylines and highlights of Glasgow. The complete interior design was done by Vastint Hospitality.

The building was awarded Scottish Student Accommodation of the year 2019. It is operated by Homes for Student and ran under their brand Prestige Student Living.

This student accommodation project is located in Glasgow Collegelands on Havannah Street. It is located close to the University of Strathclyde and the lively Merchant City.
