Following a competitive pitch process with more than 60 hotel operators and investors, Vienna Airport has selected Vastint Hospitality to develop a new Moxy hotel with 400 rooms. Conditional upon securing a building permit, Vastint Hospitality hopes to start construction during 2016 and to open the hotel in 2017. The hotel will be built directly behind the Vienna Airport Office Park on part of the area currently used as a parking lot. Hotel guests will be able to use the passenger tunnel to reach the airport terminals and conference guests will be able to make use of the conference center in the Office Park.
