The former A.G. Rūtenbergs Tobacco Factory was built in 1899, and many years later it was totally reconstructed into a five-floor Class-A office building Zaļā 1 with total office space of 3,600 m². During the renovation, particular attention was devoted to the quality of the building materials and to the building technologies that ensured greater comfort and commensurate utility fees. The work was finished in 2010. Flexible and fully finished offices are fitted out quickly and effectively according to specific business needs. The building is linked to an underground car park for 170 vehicles. 24/7 security services are available in the lobby of the building.

LEED Platinum certificate

During the re-certification in 2020, the A class office building Zaļā 1 has received the highest - Platinum certificate according to the international LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program for existing buildings in use. The certificate testifies the sustainability of the building and the high level management.
