The new 200 keys Moxy Milan Linate Airport opened its doors on 12 April 2018, following the completion of its construction by Vastint Hospitality in only 9 months, in time for the ‘Salone del Mobile’ furniture fair.
A local Italian newspaper referred to the project as “Tempo record”, a record time. Rapid construction of this project was made possible by Vastint Hospitality’s expertise in the utilisation of a significant number of prefabricated building elements.
The property has also achieved the Energy class A1 certification, which is required by Italian building code since 2016, by installing several energy-saving elements such as external window screens, solar panels, heat reflecting roof material, heat recovery ventilation and air handling units with integrated heat pumps.
The hotel is operated by QM Hotel Srl, part of Belvar AS, under a 30 year lease.
