Vastint France’s Moxy Paris Val d’Europe has been awarded LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Moxy Paris Val d’Europe is located 40 km from the centre of Paris and within half an hour walking distance of the world-famous Disneyland Paris Amusement Park. It is a short 8-minute trip with the RER A or a quick bike ride with the hotel’s free bike rental facility to Disneyland Paris.
The hotel offers 238 rooms and 190 parking spaces, of which 60% are equipped with electrical chargers. Bistrot 51, a creative French restaurant, has room for 100 guests indoors or on its magnificent outdoor terrace, offering local seasonal produce and a collection of fabulous French wines.
LEED is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. LEED certification provides independent verification of a building’s green features, allowing for the design, construction, operations and maintenance of resource-efficient, high-performing, healthy, cost-effective buildings. LEED is the triple bottom line in action, benefiting people, planet and profit.
A standard of LEED Gold, or higher, is being sought for all further Moxy hotel projects.
