Soapbox is the second and largest collection of rental homes to launch at Sugar House Island, boasting brilliant views of the city skyline, a peaceful riverside setting and an abundance of outdoor space.
Soapbox is a collection of 211 modern, spacious homes, welcoming everyone from solo occupants to couples, sharers and families. The phase contains apartments, duplexes and mews houses ranging from studios through to four-bedrooms, with private balconies, residents’ courtyards, and relaxing rooftop terraces. Many of the homes are also pet-friendly.
Over a third of the new homes on offer are three-bedroom or more, catering for families and providing room for home offices.
Named after the Island’s soap making heritage, Soapbox is a reference to one of the many industries which thrived as part of the Island’s circular economy in the 1800’s. The industries that operated at Sugar House Island played a pivotal role in the production of sugar, gin, ink, soap, and more.
This launch follows the success of the Island’s first phase of residential in September 2020, Botanical Mews, which brought 141 new homes for rent to Stratford. The first phase achieved full occupation within 10 months of launch.
