Vastint Latvia holds topping-out ceremony at residential complex Lindenholma

In October 2019, the topping-out ceremony of the first phase of the Lindenholma residential project was held at the construction site in Mārupe. Project’s developer Vastint Latvia, along with the buildings’ concept authors, project designers and many others involved in the project have celebrated reaching the structure’s highest point in a festive atmosphere.

Following topping-out ceremonial tradition, a wreath was placed on the Lindenholma’s roof crest. In order to leave historical testimony about this event, a symbolic celebratory sign — an engraved tablet with the project’s name, date of the event and a wish for the buildings’ future residents — was attached to one of the building’s wooden beams.

The representatives of the project’s developer, concept authors and the construction company thanked all those present for the invested work and professionalism which have ensured the project’s conformity with the highest quality standards.

The Lindenholma residential complex is being built in the quarter between Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve in Rīga and Daibes and Lielā streets in Mārupe. Thanks to such an advantageous location, Lindenholma unites both the benefits of urban apartment dwellings and those of private country houses and will allow the future residents to enjoy the green surroundings and well-developed infrastructure of Mārupe in the closest proximity to the capital.

During the first phase of construction, six buildings will be completed containing a total of 209 apartments. They will be offered with a high-quality finish, in a range of three design styles. Well-considered apartment layouts, each having windows on both sides of the building, will ensure maximum natural daylight in the rooms. The apartments will have spacious private outdoor spaces— a balcony or a terrace. Vast green zones will be installed, and car-free courtyards organized between the buildings. The first phase of construction is planned to be completed in the second half of 2020.

In total, Lindenholma will ultimately feature more than 650 apartments. During the next phases of construction, a multi-storey car park will be built next to the complex.

The author of the idea for the Lindenholma complex is Gatis Didrihsons of SIA Didrihsons arhitekti; the authors of the construction project are Arvīds Līkops and Kristaps Blaubergs from SIA Linia. The designer of the buildings’ interior is Svjatoslavs Aļeiņikovs from SIA In4 design ideas; construction is done by SIA Deprom LV and construction supervision is performed by SIA Forma 2; producer of the roof’s framework is SIA Freimans Timber Constructions; construction of the roof and its framework is executed by SIA Hoproof.
