Technology company MessageBird has taken out a long-term lease for approx. 4,000 m2 of office space in CitySide-Rivierstaete.
Rivierstaete is located on the banks of the river Amstel, within walking distance of Amsterdam Amstel railway and metro station and a 5-minute drive from the A10 and A2 motorways. The complex, with a total of approx. 28,000 m2, has been fully renovated as a new, creative hotspot in the heart of Amsterdam.
MVSA Architects developed the new design. The transparent glazed facades give the building an open and accessible character, allowing plenty of natural light to penetrate, while magnificent views can be enjoyed from the building’s many roof terraces. The large floor areas with their flexible layouts reinforce the feeling of space.
The large-scale renovation will be completed in the third quarter of this year, so MessageBird will be the very first lessee to move in. As already announced, the lessee WPP, together with some twenty other businesses, will also be relocating to the renovated Rivierstaete at the end of the year.
CitySide still has around 5,500 m2 to let, distributed across the 1st to the 3rd floors.
