Vastint Poland renews lease agreement with PKO Bank Polski

Vastint Poland has announced the extension of its lease agreement with PKO Bank Polski, a tenant of the office building in the Waterfront complex in Gdynia. The bank will occupy 6,000 m2 of office space, remaining a key tenant of this prestigious property.

I am pleased that PKO BP has chosen to stay in our office building at Waterfront. This confirms that our property offers a high-quality work environment and meets the needs of our tenant. We are currently refreshing the ground floor reception area to further enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the building. Additionally, we will set up Ready Flex offices on the available space of total 4,750 m2, offering autonomous, fully furnished workspaces available to companies of diverse sizes on flexible short-term rental terms. The two additional office buildings that we will soon complete as part of Waterfront will enrich the service offering and further increase the attractiveness of this location,” says Anna Szmilewska, Senior Leasing Manager, Vastint Poland.

PKO Bank Polski’s headquarters in Gdynia, which houses, among others, the Regional Retail Branch, and the Regional Corporate Centre, was completed in 2015 as part of the first phase of the multifunctional Waterfront. The office building is located next to the Sea Towers skyscraper and the Courtyard by Marriott hotel on the waterfront of the President’s Pool in Gdynia.

The 11-story building’s architecture, particularly its non-standard span of ceilings and the absence of structural elements on individual floors, allows for flexible interior arrangement. The thoughtful combination of window proportions, glazed surfaces, facades, sunshades, and high-insulation walls ensures minimal energy consumption for both cooling and heating. Additionally, natural light access combined with an intelligent system that adjusts lighting levels according to external conditions enhances energy efficiency in the building. The office building has achieved LEED Platinum certification.

The property is one of five office buildings planned in Waterfront, the second phase of which will soon be completed. The complex, with a planned total area of 85,000 m2, offers a diverse mix of offices, residential units, a hotel and conference base, retail spaces, as well as public functions and spaces. Located by the seaside, it not only boasts impressive views but also provides convenient proximity to the city centre and its key facilities.
