Vastint Poland welcomes Semco Maritime to the K2 office building

Vastint Poland has signed a lease agreement with the Polish branch of Semco Maritimen, a company specialising in both conventional and renewable energy.  The Semco Maritime engineering team will move into the K2 building in Gdynia in July this year, where it will occupy over 1,200 m2 of office space. ITRA Polska advised the tenant throughout the office leasing process.

Semco Maritime is an international engineering and construction company focusing on projects in the energy sector. From the outset, the company has been developing Danish offshore wind energy, optimizing engineering design, production, installation, service, and maintenance of wind power plants, providing comprehensive project management in all phases of energy projects. The company employs around 2,400 people in Denmark and regional offices in countries such as Norway, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, the United States, Vietnam, and Singapore.

We have found an excellent space for our employees in a building that perfectly aligns with our long-term strategy to reduce CO2 emissions. Additionally, we appreciated the technical solutions that will enable our team to operate more efficiently in terms of reducing electricity and water consumption. The consultancy from ITRA Polska resulted in significant savings compared to the initially considered location,” comments Maciej Grzybowski, Head of Semco Maritime in Poland.

“Thanks to excellent cooperation, we have found a building in Gdynia that perfectly meets the client’s expectations in terms of the highest technical quality standards and high environmental standards, which are also reflected in the certification. The process required efficient decisions from both our client and the landlord. We have successfully achieved the tenant’s goals in a partnership manner, demonstrating that Vastint, as the owner of the office building, also professionally listened to Semco Maritime’s needs,” says Błażej Kucharski, Managing Director of Regional Markets and Head of Tricity Office at ITRA Polska.

“The new headquarters will provide our tenant with the necessary support for business purposes and create comfortable conditions for the professional development of company employees. The location of the K2 office building near one of the main arteries of Gdynia, adjacent to the SKM stop, ensures easy access for both employees and clients. The flexible floor layout allows for efficient space arrangement according to individual needs. Additionally, future users will benefit from high-quality working environment parameters, such as good ventilation, optimal lighting, and high acoustic standards, providing excellent conditions for effective work,” says Marek Ulanecki, Senior Leasing Manager at Vastint Poland.

K2 is a six-story office building located near the Wzgorze sw. Maksymiliana interchange on Kielecka Street in Gdynia. It offers more than 11,400 m2 of A-class office space. The office building with an intimate lobby, which was designed as a space for informal business meetings, is distinguished by its sophisticated architecture referring to Gdynia’s modernism. A two-level garage hall houses 136 parking spaces and locker rooms for cyclists. The building is LEED Platinum certified and was the first in Gdynia to receive WiredScore Platinum certification.
