Vastint Holding B.V. (Vastint), including all Vastint group companies, form part of an international real estate organization. The prime activities of the Vastint operations are the management of portfolio properties and the development of commercial real estate, including residential development and sales.
In providing our products and services, we mainly collect information on businesses, but we may also collect personal data. Your trust in how we handle your personal data is important to us. When you use our website, sign-up for our newsletters or do business with us as our business partner or supplier, it is important to us to process your personal data carefully and securely in a transparent manner. In this Privacy Statement, we explain when we collect your personal data, what personal data we collect, how we use such personal data, and how long we keep your personal data.
This Privacy Statement supersedes previous versions of our Privacy Statement, in which we also informed you about the processing of your personal data.
1. Who does this Privacy Statement apply to?
1.1 This Privacy Statement is aimed at our business contacts and everyone who visits our website.
2. Who is the data controller for the processing of your personal data?
2.1 Vastint is the data controller for the processing of your personal data in accordance with the applicable law. In addition to this, Affiliates of Vastint are also the data controllers for the processing of personal data. There is differentiated responsibility, which means that Vastint and the Affiliates are each independently data controllers for the processing of personal data for which they determine the purposes and means. Vastint is not responsible for the privacy- or cookie statement as implemented by the other parties.
3. Which of your personal data does Vastint process?
3.1 We process your personal data to provide our services. If you are a business contact of Vastint, we may amongst other things process the following personal data of you: your name, (work)address, telephone number, email address, ID number, education and training, licenses and photo.
3.2 We also automatically process the following categories of information of all our website visitors: information with regard to your visit to our website, browsing behaviour, information about the computer used, such as your IP address, browser specifications and operating system of the device that you use to visit our website.
4. For what purposes do we use your personal data?
4.1 We process your personal data so you can use the features of our website as optimally as possible, in order to provide our services to you and to maintain contact with you.
4.2 More specifically we process your personal data for the following purposes
- Providing our services to you;
- Maintaining contact with you;
- Internal management;
- Recovery of debts from you;
- Design, construction and installation works;
- Analyzing the use of our website;
- Maintaining, securing and optimising our website;
- Improving our services and compiling user statistics and other analyses;

4.3 Your personal data is not processed for any other purposes than described in this Privacy Statement.
5. What is the legal ground for using your personal data?
5.1 We process your personal data for the performance of a contract with you. We may also process your personal data if necessary for complying with one of our legal obligations or for achieving our legitimate interests. We always check carefully that your privacy interests do not weigh more heavily. For example, we have a legitimate (business) interest in maintaining, securing and optimising our website, so that we can be of good service to you now and in the future.
5.3 You can withdraw your consent at any time, please contact us via the contact details below. If you withdraw your consent, this will not affect the lawfulness of our use of your personal data before your withdrawal.
6. How long do we retain your information?
6.1 We will not retain your personal data longer than necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data are processed. In principle, we will retain your data for a maximum of two years after the end of your customer relationship with us, unless we are required by statutory obligations to retain your personal data for a longer period of time. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of complaints or disputes to the extent that this is necessary to protect our interests and/or the interests of Vastint.
7. Recipients of the personal data and transfer of personal data outside the EEA.
7.1 We will only disclose your personal data to persons authorised to this end employed by Vastint on a need to know basis or to persons authorised to this end employed by or working on behalf of our affiliates and data processors involved by Vastint, on a need-to-know basis.
7.2 We may engage external service providers who also provide services for us as data processor within the meaning of the applicable law in the context of which your personal data are processed. An example of this is the service provider who takes care of the hosting and maintenance of our website. Data processors may only process your personal data on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. We conclude appropriate data processing agreements with every data processor for this purpose.
7.3 Outside the situations mentioned in this Privacy Statement, we will not disclose your personal data to others, unless we deem it necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to protect our or other people’s rights, or to enforce compliance with this Privacy Statement.
7.4 The recipients may be established in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The legislation on data protection and other relevant legislation in such countries is not necessarily the same as the legislation in the Netherlands. However, we have taken appropriate safeguards to transfer your personal data to a country located outside the EEA.

8.1 We do our very best to implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect against loss, abuse and alteration of your personal information under our control. Although we exercise all reasonably required care for a secure data, we can not guarantee that the processing of data remains secure at all times. We accept no liability for damages suffered by you or third parties as a result of unauthorised access to your (personal) data, unless such damage is caused by intent or gross negligence on our part.
