A new mixed-use district in Leeds South Bank with a generously-sized park at its heart
Aire Park will become a well-connected and sustainable mixed-use neighbourhood of homes, offices, retail, leisure and public outdoor spaces. The design proposes a vibrant development in the centre of the South Bank with a large urban park at its heart. The aim of the scheme is to support the expansion of the city core, providing a vital link connecting the city centre with the Tetley and its creative neighbours, through to the education district and the communities to the south. Vastint UK is set to deliver the first phase of Aire Park in 2023; 28,000 m² of commercial space set across two buildings.
Location
The site is centrally located in Leeds, sitting on the South Bank of the River Aire. The city’s retail and financial quarters are just a short walk away, as well as The Calls which has many vibrant pubs and bars. Leeds railway station is a mere ten-minute walk away from Aire park, providing fast transport links to London, Manchester and beyond.
