Modern development of Gdynia waterfront
Waterfront is a mixed-use project with breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea, consisting of two buildings - an office building and a Courtyard by Marriott hotel. The project has been designed with consideration to sustainable building principles and awarded LEED certificates. Its innovative and energy saving ventilation system is based on chilled beams and uses seawater for cooling. The elevator engines are equipped with the “Clean Drive” function that reduces the use of energy by approximately 30%, and the power recovered by the engines is directly transmitted to the electrical network in the building.
Location
The project is located at the President's Bay near Kosciuszki Square. It is the most popular boulevard in the city, where museum ships and countless modern vessels are moored and where the Gdynia Aquarium is located.
