Vastint has acquired the old Porta Susa Train Station building, a heritage listed property dated 1856. The historic building will be restored and converted into the hotel's main entrance, along with its common areas, namely a restaurant, gymnasium, and dedicated meeting and conference spaces. The 200-plus room hotel, on the other hand, will be newly built and will connect directly to the common areas of the existing structure.
The process of obtaining building permits to redevelop the area and build the new hotel is almost complete.
